FAQ

There is no way I can make it to Sweden….

We will have a broadcast for everyone not able to join us for whatever reasons. Sometimes life throws curveballs at us and we just have to roll with it. We planned our wedding almost two years in advance and STILL had to defer it another year. We understand!

Check our homepage for announcements regarding the broadcast a few days prior.

How will the war in Ukraine effect the event/travel?

Right now, we expect the wedding to go on as planned. We don’t know what will happen, to be absolutely honest. If the situation in Europe makes you uncomfortable to travel here (assuming you live outside the EU or even Scandinavia) for your own security or financially, by all means, stay home and watch the broadcast. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable, but we will continue to plan on having the wedding in person.

Can I take pictures/video on my phone?

We would prefer, and ask kindly, for a “technology free” ceremony. Our photographer and videographer/broadcaster will be capturing intimate moments throughout the day to allow everyone attending to live in the moment.

You are welcome to use your phones after the ceremony.

I don’t speak Swedish, will there be a problem?

Absolutely not! Almost everyone in Sweden speaks fluent English, and sometimes even knows another language or two. Don’t worry about it. Do you speak another language? Let’s show off our skills together. Besides, no one needs to speak the same language to enjoy good food and good times!

(The ceremony and reception will be made so everyone can understand.)

Can I bring my children?

We love having children around us, and most of our friends and family have small children. You are very welcome to bring them or come by yourselves for a fun night out!

Are plus ones invited?

If your invitation only included one person’s name, absolutely.
